Job summary

Advanced-Ground-Systems-Engineering seeks an Expeditor to coordinate materials flow and ensure on-time delivery across Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, Shipping, suppliers, and Customer Service. The role emphasizes proactive issue resolution and clear communication across departments.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working on-site in Cincinnati with exposure to ERP systems and purchase orders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in international purchasing, supplier expediting, or related manufacturing.
• Associate degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field preferred.
• Experience with suppliers, carriers, or freight providers— aerospace or complex engineered parts.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, PO tracking, and shipment documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor open purchase orders and shipment status to identify risks.
• Contact suppliers for status updates, revised ship dates, and recovery plans.
• Escalate and resolve delays in the supply chain and shipments.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Planning, Operations, Warehousing and Quality teams.
• Develop and monitor recovery plans for past-due orders and disruptions.
• Support supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement.
