Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing context.
• Strong knowledge of logistics, production planning, and supply chain management principles.
• Familiarity with materials management processes and best practices.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
• Experience working with MRP systems.
• Experience with purchasing raw metals, electronics, and consumables.

About the role

This position plays a key role in supporting engineering and production by sourcing and purchasing a wide range of industrial components –including motors, drives, electrical and electronic parts, fabricated materials, and raw metals. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, supplier management experience, and the ability to balance cost, quality, and delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
