Job summary

The position supports the Renewables & Clean Power portfolio, with initial work in Reston, VA, and eventual mobilization to field sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent required.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years total work experience.
• Experience in purchasing, agreement/order drafting and negotiations.
• Knowledge of project purchasing and PO administration practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare project master purchase pro-forma forms with legal and commercial terms for purchase documents.
• Prepare and maintain bidder's lists and ensure input from procurement and other operational groups.
• Review international project commercial conditions to ensure terms comply with Bechtel directives and governance.
• Form, issue, and administer purchase orders.
• Direct negotiations in the commitment of purchases after supervisor approves the negotiating plan.
