Job summary

HDR's Mid-Atlantic Water Business Group seeks a seasoned Business Class Leader to drive growth, control, direction, and quality for pump stations and pipelines. The role leads multi-discipline teams, coordinates with structural, geological, and GIS groups, and partners with senior HDR staff to deliver complex projects.

You will manage client relations, oversee technical scopes, and contribute to proposal development while championing HDR's employee-owned culture and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• 10 years of experience in leading projects and teams.
• Maintains a professional or engineering registration.
• Experienced in development and management of diverse teams.
• Works cooperatively with area leaders and staff across HDR.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and oversee large-scale pump station and pipeline projects with high technical complexity.
• Build and maintain client relations and participate in project development and contract document preparation.
• Coordinate projects across structural, geology, geotechnical, civil, mechanical, CADD and GIS.
• Provide strategic and tactical input on business trends to BC and local office planning.
• Manage staff workloads and identify opportunities for recruitment and training.
