Job summary

HDR is seeking a Team Lead for the Pump Stations and Pipelines (PSPL) team in California to guide projects from design through implementation. You will mentor staff, manage assignments, and coordinate with owners and clients to deliver safe, reliable water infrastructure.

You will oversee mid-sized to large pump station and pipeline projects, support business development, and advance QA/QC and personnel training while upholding HDR's employee-owned culture across California locations including

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience.
• Professional registration or license may be required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Active participant in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a team within the PSPL Business Class.
• Manage workload and staff assignments to deliver quality products.
• Provide oversight and mentorship on projects.
• Lead engineering and project coordination; write specifications.
• Participate in business development and client interaction.
