Job summary

Celeros Flow Technology in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a skilled Pump Mechanic. You will perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of centrifugal, reciprocating, and other pump types, following prints and process sheets to tight tolerances.

You will interact with customers to define work scope and acceptance criteria, ensuring safety and quality at all times. The role requires experience with various pump types, good math and measurement skills, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical training.
• 8+ years repairing pumps or rotating equipment.
• Experience with multiple pump types (OH1-OH4, BB, multistage, ANSI, vertical turbines, PD).

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on pumps.
• Read schematics and document quality records.
• Operate hoists and cranes to position components safely.
• Interface with customers to define work scope and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain safety and quality documentation.
