Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a skilled, hands-on Customer Product Repair Mechanic (CPRM) to join our Quick Response Center (QRC) in Baton Rouge. You will lead end-to-end teardown, DCI, precision repair, and reassembly of mission-critical flow equipment, including centrifugal pumps, mechanical seals, and rotating components.

Working from engineering schematics and QA checklists, you will assess wear, perform precision measurements, run tests, and prepare units for shipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training welcomed.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and SOPs.
• Must own basic hand tools and precision measurement instruments.

Responsibilities

• Disassembly, Cleaning & Inspection (DCI) of rotating equipment and documenting wear.
• Perform dimensional checks using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
• Mechanical assembly and overhaul to OEM specs with appropriate tools.
• Testing, balancing, and hydrostatic verification of components.
• Finalize units for customer shipment with proper labeling and safety.
• Coordinate with production and QA to ensure safety and quality.
