Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanic to join our pump repair shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of pumps and related equipment. This role requires extensive knowledge of mechanical systems. The candidate must be capable of working independently and ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of pumps, with focus on centrifugal pumps.
• Perform routine repairs on pumps, electric motors and related equipment.
• Document and report all repair and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience as a mechanic, preferably in a pump repair shop.
• In-depth knowledge of pump systems and mechanical components.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with centrifugal pumps systems electrically driven
• Familiarity with pump service industry-specific tools.
• Additional certifications or training in pump repair and maintenance.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work in various environments, including industrial settings.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
