Job Summary

We seek a skilled and experienced Senior Mechanic to join our pump repair shop. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain various pumps and related equipment, requiring extensive mechanical knowledge. Independence and high-quality workmanship are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a range of pumps, focusing on centrifugal pumps.
• Perform routine repairs on pumps, electric motors, and related equipment.
• Document and report all repair and maintenance activities.
• Ensure safety compliance and uphold company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a mechanic, preferably in pump repair.
• Deep knowledge of pump systems and mechanical parts.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electrically driven centrifugal pump systems.
• Knowledge of industry-specific tools.
• Additional certifications in pump repair and maintenance.
