Job summary

NV5 is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead public works infrastructure projects in the Southern California region, overseeing project management and engineering efforts for water, wastewater, roads, parks, and buildings.

You will coordinate with clients, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality. CA PE or CCM and a BS in engineering are required, with 10 years of experience and flexibility to travel within Southern California.

Qualifications

• CA PE or CCM required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• DBIA certification a plus.
• 10 years of construction management and engineering experience.
• Experience with Southern California public agencies.
• Regional travel within Southern California.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of codes and regulations (GreenBook, California Building Code, OSHA, MUTCD).

Responsibilities

• Lead public works infrastructure projects through construction.
• Provide PM and engineering oversight for water, sewer, roads, parks, and buildings.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and client communications.
• Coordinate with BD and technical leadership to deliver projects.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and client interfaces.
• Travel within Southern California as required.
