Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a highly motivated Senior Construction Manager with expertise in heavy civil water and wastewater projects to join our Inland Empire team in California. You will lead complex field efforts, coordinate with clients, regulators, and contractors, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and CCM or PE certification.
• Extensive construction management experience on municipal water/wastewater projects.
• Strong client interface and coordination with agencies.

Responsibilities

• Client interface: collaborate with clients, oversight reps, and regulatory agencies for project execution.
• Internal collaboration: establish productive relationships with management.
• Communication: explain water/wastewater design concepts and coordinate with clients.
• Liaison: maintain communication with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Compliance: ensure adherence to client, company, and project policies.
• Project management: achieve objectives within policies and procedures.
• Oversight: direct construction management, contract administration, and schedule review.
• Proactive management: ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Cost evaluation: review cost proposals and prepare estimates.
• Supervision: oversee activities of project personnel.
• Safety: implement and ensure adherence to safety programs.
