The City of Albuquerque seeks a Sr. Project Manager to lead planning, design, and construction of Public Works, CIP, and facility projects.

You will direct budgeting, scheduling, policy development, and compliance across multiple departments and stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing horizontal construction projects citywide, coordinating with engineers and contractors, and delivering high-quality infrastructure aligned with community needs.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years supervisory experience.

Responsabilités

• Assume full management responsibility for assigned Public Works, CIP, and facility construction projects from early planning through implementation.
• Oversee project phases to ensure compliance with codes, laws, ordinances, and regulations, including ADA requirements.
• Assign and review work activities of staff, consultants, and contractors on renovations, new development, and construction projects.
• Provide assistance to project managers to ensure projects meet City specifications and are completed on time and within budget.
• Prepare cost estimates and participate in contract negotiations; oversee consultant selection processes.
• Monitor consultant and contractor performance to ensure contract compliance.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, surveyors, and other professionals during design and construction phases.
• Assist City departments with Public Works, CIP, and construction projects from concept through final completion.
