Job summary

Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) is seeking a project/program manager to lead complex state government engagements across federal and state regulations. You will oversee project delivery, quality assurance, and lifecycle activities while coordinating with clients and internal teams in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent written and oral communication, and the ability to develop plans, elicit requirements, and manage stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 10 years' experience required; graduate degree preferred.
• Active Project Management Professional certification.
• Experience with state government programs and proposals.
• Previous consulting experience with state government clients.
• Experience with Child Support, Child Welfare, Medicaid, Workforce programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project manager with client needs and best practices for project delivery.
• Manage complex projects with limited supervision and meet performance expectations.
• Develop communication plans with clients and execute effective written and verbal communication.
• Identify gaps and determine necessary workarounds in engagements.
• Plan and monitor ongoing project tasks and delegate to team members.
