Job summary

Netsmart is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, mission-critical implementations in the Public Sector. You will guide large-scale client programs, influence executives, and ensure projects stay on track both operationally and financially.

You will partner with client leaders to drive alignment, anticipate risks, and center teams when challenges arise. This role requires executive presence and a PMP credential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience.
• PMP or equivalent certification required.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• Ability to influence decisions across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee large-scale public sector projects; manage scope, schedule, and costs.
• Build executive-level relationships with clients and stakeholders; govern programs across projects.
• Forecast requirements, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions for financial performance.
• Establish governance and risk management for high-visibility initiatives.
• Develop stakeholder communication plans including executive reporting.
