Job summary

RingCentral seeks a practical, business‑oriented Senior Contracts Negotiator (Public Sector) or Corporate Counsel (Public Sector) to join our Commercial Legal Team in the United States. You will lead complex, high‑value public sector transactions and counsel cross‑functional teams across Sales, Deals Desk, Finance, Security, and Product to protect RingCentral’s interests.

In this role you’ll draft and negotiate MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, and channel agreements, while expanding playbooks, SOPs, and

Qualifications

• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts in U.S. Public Sector (SLED and/or Federal).
• JD with in-house bar membership or equivalent is preferred for attorney track.
• Familiarity with public procurement regulations, contract vehicles, and NASPO/TIPS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end public sector deal execution and negotiation for North American sales programs.
• Build and optimize contracting workflows, SOPs, and public sector templates.
• Provide RFx support, bid protest guidance, and channel/reseller contract negotiation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Deals Desk, Finance, and Product to accelerate deals.
• Utilize CLM and AI tools to streamline contract operations and repositories.
• Educate and train internal teams on government contracting standards.
