Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Senior Engagement Manager for Worldwide Public Sector ProServe to lead delivery of complex AWS-based cloud projects. You will guide technical decisions, bridge business needs with engineering solutions, and drive project outcomes for US government customers while maintaining TS/SCI clearance.

You will manage multi-project programs, mentor teams, and ensure alignment with Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
5+ years of leading the delivery of IT projects with external customers or equivalent experience
5+ years of program or engagement management work leading other project managers to deliver a program with multiple and concurrent projects experience
2+ years of working as a Scrum Master or Product Owner across multiple cross-functional teams experience
Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI or above

Responsibilities

Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projects
Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning
Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes
Distilling customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes
Decomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions
Contributing to technical documentation and define documentation standards
