Job summary

Impinj, Inc. is seeking a Staff Public Relations & Communications Manager to shape how we engage media, analysts, and external audiences.

You will translate complex wireless semiconductor technology into compelling stories while guiding integrated external communications and social media strategy. You will work closely with executives and cross-functional teams to drive measurable impact, manage a PR agency, and lead communications for launches and events.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, or external communications at a B2B technology company or agency
• Proven record of originating stories, pitching media, and earning coverage
• Proven ability to build productive relationships with media, agency partners, and analysts
• Experience setting communications strategy and executing independently with ownership
• Ability to translate technical products into clear business narratives
• Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills
• Experience using data to refine communications策略 and demonstrate impact
• Experience in semiconductors, enterprise tech, or RFID/connected products

Responsibilities

• Own and execute an integrated external communications strategy across media, analysts, corporate communications, and social media
• Create and pitch newsworthy stories connecting Impinj technologies, customers, and partners with external audiences
• Build and deepen relationships with media, analysts, and influencers
• Lead communications for product and technology launches, partner milestones, events, and executive thought leadership
• Own and evolve Impinj’s social media strategy
• Serve as communications partner to executives and cross-functional teams
• Lead relationships with the PR agency and external resources
• Write and edit press releases, pitches, bylines, and executive talking points
• Monitor coverage, analyst perspectives, conversations, and competitive developments
• Use performance metrics to continually improve programs
