We seek a Staff Public Relations & Communications Manager to shape how Impinj shows up with media and external audiences, turning complex technology into stories that build awareness and drive business.

This is a hands-on, strategic role for a self-starter who can spot opportunities, craft compelling angles, and execute across media,

Qualifications

• 8+ years in public relations, media relations, or external communications at a B2B technology company or agency
• Proven record of originating story ideas, pitching media and earning coverage
• Proven ability to build productive relationships with media, agency partners, and analysts
• Experience setting communications strategy and executing independently with strong ownership
• Ability to translate technical products, esp. wireless semiconductors, into clear narratives
• Excellent writing, editing, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Experience using performance data to refine approach and demonstrate impact
• Experience in semiconductors, enterprise technology, RAIN RFID, or related tech

Responsibilities

• Own and execute an integrated external communications strategy across media, analysts, corporate communications, and social media
• Create and pitch newsworthy stories connecting Impinj technologies, customers, and partners to relevant external topics
• Build and deepen relationships with media, analysts, and influencers
• Lead communications for product/tech launches, partner milestones, industry events, and executive thought leadership with measurable impact
• Own and evolve Impinj’s social media strategy
• Serve as trusted communications partner to executives and cross-functional teams
• Lead relationship with our PR agency and external resources
• Write and edit external content such as press releases, media pitches, bylines, and talking points
• Monitor coverage, analyst perspectives, conversations, and competitive developments
• Use performance metrics to continually improve communications programs
