Job summary

Impinj is seeking a senior RF product engineering leader to drive the technical strategy for an entire product family, partnering across hardware, firmware, test, and operations. You will mentor engineers, optimize yields, and work with contract manufacturers to resolve production and NPI challenges.

The role requires deep RF, wireless and analog/digital circuit expertise, plus strong data analysis and scripting ability. Domestic travel to Asia for vendor meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 15+ years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience in product engineering with wireless, RF, and/or network products.
• Proficiency with PLM, data analysis tools, and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical strategy for RF product engineering across an entire product family, test methodology, yield optimisation, and production scaling.
• Drive cross‑organization initiatives partnering with hardware, firmware, test, systems, customer support, IT, operations, and executive leadership.
• Serve as the primary technical leader and point-of-contact with contract manufacturers for troubleshooting and resolving production, yield, NPI, RMA, and test issues.
• Mentor senior engineers, elevating technical decision‑making and strengthening engineering leadership across the organization.
• Design and lead complex experiments to deepen understanding of product performance and test system operations.
