Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Five years of journey‑level experience investigating general liability, including litigation and managing high exposure and complex files.
• Knowledge of laws regarding personal and property liability; subrogation, medical terminology, insurance reserving, risk analysis, and statistical record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, accept or deny public liability claims and evaluate investigations and settlements.
• Provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders and prepare high level summaries.
• Gather and review data, request clarifications, and perform follow ups on claims.
• Conduct investigations, interviews, and site inspections to establish facts and liabilities.
• Represent the County in small claims actions and coordinate with attorneys on litigation.
• Prepare cost/status reports and maintain accurate claims records and documentation.
