  • Prepare proposals, protocols, data analysis plans, reports, manuscripts, and presentations of study findings.
  • Provide education, technical assistance, advocacy, public awareness, and research addressing public health issues.
  • Work on studies evaluating public health issue prevalence, surveillance, and targeted intervention effectiveness.
  • Coordinate clinical study sites to ensure patient recruitment and data collection compliance.
  • Provide technical assistance through presentations, websites, strategies, and educational forums.
  • Design, develop, and conduct targeted training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external organizations to develop action plans and goals.
  • Identify new potential projects, studies, or partners.
  • Review literature, extract data, support Delphi processes, and recommend common caregiver research measures.
  • Perform related responsibilities as required.

Requirements


  • Master's degree in Public Health, Master of Science degree in Public Health or Health Education, or master's degree in Development Practice and three years of relevant applied public health experience

  • Alternatively, master's degree in another field and four years of public health experience

  • Quantitative and analytic skills sufficient to serve in an analyst capacity, including survey programming and statistical analysis of large cohort study datasets

  • Experience with aging, caregiving, or elder abuse research

  • Strong scientific writing and ability to meet authorship thresholds for peer-reviewed publications

  • Experience coordinating multi-site or community-partnered research

  • Must reside in the state of Georgia

  • Must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs
