Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a doctoral- or MD/PhD-level epidemiologist to lead and design studies across communicable and environmental epidemiology, including HIV prevention and PrEP. The role requires international travel and Georgia residency, with strong data analysis and scientific writing expectations.

You will collaborate with the Principal Investigator, manage data, develop health education materials, and contribute to manuscripts and publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in a field related to epidemiology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • International travel required.
  • MD, DVM, or PhD with epidemiology/biostatistics experience.
  • Excellent scientific writing ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with SAS, R, or other statistical software.
  • Experience in HIV prevention, PrEP, or digital health.
  • Residency in Georgia required.

Requirements
  • A doctoral degree in a field related to area of research or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • International travel required
  • MD, DVM, or PhD with experience in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or another relevant quantitative field
  • Excellent scientific writing ability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Expertise in data management using SAS, R, or other statistical software
  • Experience in analysis of clinical trial data and/or national claims data
  • Experience in HIV prevention, PrEP, or digital health
  • Must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs
  • Residency in the state of Georgia required
