Enlyte seeks an experienced claims professional to manage complex liability claims for public entities in New Jersey. You will independently handle high-exposure and litigated files, focusing on favorable outcomes for clients while maintaining thorough documentation and proper reserves.

Responsibilities include complex claims management, coverage analysis, and collaboration with defense counsel. This role requires strong prioritization, detailed notes, and ongoing awareness of legal developments.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of claims handling experience in an insurance/TPA or related industry.
• Experience with general liability claims (slip & fall) and auto liability claims.
• Experience with NJ Tort Claims Act and Title 59 claims.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize workflow and manage complex caseloads.
• Ability to collaborate with defense counsel on litigation strategy.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, deny or settle complex and high-exposure claims with minimal supervision.
• Determine and evaluate coverage, liability, and damages for various liability claims.
• Set appropriate reserves in accordance with policy provisions, guidelines, and statutes.
• Handle litigation files with strategic approach to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and maintain detailed claim notes.
