Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 10+ years of commercial liability claims experience.
• Public Entity experience preferred.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with insureds, agents, brokers, and TPAs.
• Litigation experience necessary.
• Strong experience handling Professional Liability, General Liability and Auto.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills; ability to adapt communication style.

Responsibilities

• Review, oversight, and handling of Professional Liability, General Liability, and Automobile claims.
• Identify and evaluate risk transfer opportunities via contracts, leases, and certificates.
• Communicate with insureds, brokers and TPAs to obtain information and monitor exposure.
• Set reserves within authority or recommend reserve changes to supervisor.
• Lead litigation strategy and manage counsel through trial and arbitration.
• Prepare timely reports to management on significant claim developments.
• Contribute to audits of TPAs and collaborate across underwriting, marketing, and senior management.
