Job summary

Columbia River Nitrogen seeks a seasoned PSM Engineer to manage the site’s Process Safety Management program and mentor engineers. You will drive PHAs, LO PA studies, MOC oversight, and risk management efforts to reduce process safety risks.

You will coordinate with plant operations and safety teams to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and internal standards, while guiding continual improvement in process safety performance across the site.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical).
• Minimum 10 years in chemical plant operations; at least 5 years in managing Process Safety Management (PSM).
• Experience leading PHAs and risk analyses; deep knowledge of MOC, RMP, and LOPA concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage PSM effort across the site and mentor engineers.
• Resolve, implement and delegate PSM requirements with the Plant.
• Lead and coordinate PHAs, HAZOPs and Risk Bowtie analyses.
• Oversee MOC program and perform site PSM self-audits.
• Coordinate regulatory interactions with EPA/OSHA/DOT and ensure compliance.
