Job summary

Molina Healthcare in Michigan seeks a Senior Provider Relations professional to support network development, provider education, and compliance with Molina policies. You will act as the main liaison between this health plan and contracted providers, driving education, satisfaction, issue resolution, and EMR/portal adoption across the network.

You will conduct regular site visits, coordinate training, and lead cross‑functional problem‑solving with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of customer service or provider services in a managed care or medical office setting.
• Understanding of the health care delivery system, including government-sponsored health plans.
• Experience delivering training and facilitating educational presentations.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Engage high-priority providers to ensure satisfaction and education on Molina initiatives.
• Serve as primary contact between Molina and complex provider community, including FFS and P4P.
• Educate providers on Molina policies, drive issue resolution, EMR connectivity, and portal adoption.
• Resolve complex provider issues crossing departments and involving senior leadership.
• Conduct regular provider site visits and plan schedules to meet monthly goals.
• Provide on-the-spot training and counseling to providers while maintaining relationships.
• Lead problem-solving meetings between providers and Molina stakeholders, including executives.
• Deliver training and presentations to providers and staff, from small groups to large meetings.
• Promote participation in Molina initiatives and monitor adherence to policies.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for provider relations and assist new team members.
• Quarterly team travel within Michigan.
