Job summary

The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking a Lead Enrollment Specialist to act as the senior expert responsible for complex provider and facility enrollment with payors to enable timely billing. You will lead enrollment operations, ensure accuracy, and mitigate reimbursement risk across the system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-5 years of provider enrollment experience.
• Experience independently managing complex or escalated enrollment issues.
• Subject matter expert in PECOS facility/non-facility enrollment.
• Experience serving as trainer or lead resource.
• Direct experience with non-professional/facility enrollment.
• Experience coordinating system-level or multi-entity enrollment activities.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate non-professional/facility and provider enrollment activities across the system.
• Manage advanced and escalated provider enrollment issues.
• Provide training, mentorship, and quality oversight to the enrollment team.
• Serve as liaison between enrollment operations, revenue cycle, contracting, and stakeholders.
• Support standardized workflows and monitor performance trends.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
