Job summary

CSG Talent is partnering with a leading further processed protein manufacturer to recruit an experienced Plant Manager. This senior leadership role oversees a high-volume facility, focusing on safety, quality, throughput, and cost performance.

The ideal candidate will lead production, maintenance and FSQA, driving continuous improvement, building high-performing teams and ensuring regulatory compliance across USDA, HACCP and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Previous Plant Manager or Senior Operations leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in RTE/further processed meat or protein manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of USDA, HACCP, GMP, and food safety requirements.
• Experience managing plant budgets, KPIs and financial performance.
• Understanding of production, maintenance, engineering and quality functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for all plant operations including Production, Maintenance, Engineering, FSQA, Sanitation and Warehouse.
• Develop and execute the site's operational strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the plant to achieve targets for safety, quality, throughput, labor efficiency, service and profitability.
• Establish and monitor plant KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Coach and develop the plant leadership team and foster continuous improvement.
• Drive improvements in OEE, labor productivity, yield and equipment reliability.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements.
