Job summary

CSG Talent represents a growing U.S.-based meat and protein business seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead and optimize its operating platform as the company scales. The VP will oversee multiple facilities, drive safety, quality, efficiency, and profitability while partnering with commercial and finance leadership to execute growth strategies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within meat, protein, food processing or related industry.
• Significant experience leading large-scale processing or manufacturing operations.
• Experience managing multiple facilities or a complex operational network.
• Strong understanding of production, yield, labor productivity, maintenance, quality and supply-chain management.
• Proven record of improving operational performance and profitability.
• Experience leading and developing large hourly and salaried workforces.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. food-safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for operational functions.
• Develop and execute an operations strategy aligned with growth and commercial objectives.
• Lead day-to-day performance across processing, production, packaging, warehousing and distribution operations.
• Establish clear operating standards, performance expectations and accountability throughout the organization.
• Build a high-performing operations leadership team and develop operational talent.
• Establish appropriate KPIs and management routines to monitor performance.
• Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, safety and operational excellence.
