A leading protein manufacturing facility seeks a Plant Manager to provide overall leadership of a high-volume operation, with responsibility for safety, quality, production, maintenance and cost control.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in protein processing, a proven ability to build high-performing teams, and a track record of improving efficiency and delivering sustainable business results.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience in high-volume protein processing.
• Experience with USDA, HACCP, GMP.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for all plant operations including Production, Maintenance, Engineering, FSQA, Sanitation and Warehouse.
• Develop and execute the site's operational strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Lead the plant to achieve targets around safety, quality, throughput and profitability.
• Establish and manage plant KPIs and drive corrective actions.
• Lead, coach and develop the plant leadership team.
• Drive improvements in OEE, labor productivity and equipment reliability.
• Ensure compliance with USDA, HACCP, GMP and FSQA requirements.
• Partner with HR and senior leadership to drive engagement and performance.
