Qualifications

• Doctorate degree PhD or equivalent in Biochemistry, Structural Biology, or related field.
• MD/PharmD or Master’s with 3+ years in molecular/structural biology.
• Bachelor’s with 5+ years in molecular/structural biology.
• Strong hands-on experience in protein expression, purification, and quality assessment.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute construct design, molecular cloning, and protein expression strategies.
• Design and execute purification strategies to support structure determination of targets.
• Collaborate with structural biologists to generate high-quality protein samples for X-ray/cryo-EM.
• Develop and optimize purification protocols to ensure purity, homogeneity, and stability.
• Use biochemical/biophysical methods to assess protein quality and stability.
• Manage multiple projects with timelines and quality expectations.
• Present findings clearly in written and oral formats to internal/external teams.
• Troubleshoot and optimize workflows for protein production and purification.
