Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in expression, purification, and quality assessment of challenging recombinant proteins.
• Strong hands-on experience with membrane proteins, including GPCRs.
• Deep understanding of protein stability, folding, homogenity, and aggregation, with a hypothesis-driven troubleshooting approach.

Responsibilities

• Design and execution of construct design, molecular cloning, and protein expression strategies.
• Collaborate with structural biologists to generate high-quality protein samples for structural studies.
• Develop and optimize purification protocols for structural studies.
• Use biochemical and biophysical techniques to assess protein quality and stability.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting timelines and quality standards.
• Present research findings clearly in written and oral formats to internal and external collaborators.
• Continuously troubleshoot and optimize experimental workflows for protein production and purification.
