Job summary

American Cancer Society is seeking a Senior Prospect Development Manager to oversee donor research and the prospect management process for an assigned philanthropy team.

This fully remote role supports frontline fundraisers by providing current donor insights to inform solicitation strategies, while ensuring data hygiene and adherence to APRA standards.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, collaboration with fundraising colleagues, and a commitment to the ACS mission to end cancer.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree required: Bachelor's Degree.
• 5 years of experience in prospect research or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conducts thorough research on individuals using internal and external sources to inform frontline fundraisers.
• Provides strategy insights and monitors fundraising processes for compliance.
• Oversees a balanced portfolio and collaborates to ensure data hygiene for major gift prospects.
• Gathers and analyzes data on priority constituents to identify new opportunities.
• Verifies gift capacity and updates contact information for high-priority prospects.
