Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree and at least five years of progressively responsible experience in juvenile, district court, child support, civil and felony prosecutions.
• Admitted to practice before State and Federal Trial and Appellate Courts.

Responsibilities

• Prosecute a broad range of criminal cases in District, Juvenile, or Superior Court including bench and jury trials.
• Prepare and file legal documents and conduct hearings and trials with witnesses and victims.
• Plea negotiations and case disposition planning to obtain resolution.
• Handle appellate work including transcripts, briefs, and oral arguments.
• Advise county departments and agencies by reviewing contracts and resolutions.
