Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks a seasoned Systems Engineer VI – Test to lead propulsion integration and test across multiple programs, reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager in the Strategic Systems Department. This role can be based in Reno, NV or Folsom, CA.

You will define test strategies, drive verification approaches, mentor engineers, and collaborate with customers and senior leadership to reduce risk and achieve mission success.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of propulsion system integration and test engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of propulsion systems and rocket motor testing.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and mentor staff.
• Experience with MIL-STDs and government qualification processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal technical authority for propulsion integration and test engineering.
• Define enterprise test strategies, roadmaps and standards.
• Lead complex development, qualification, production and flight test programs.
• Provide leadership for SWIL/HWIL, automation and data acquisition architectures.
• Mentor senior engineers and develop organizational capability.
• Represent the organization in customer reviews and government program reviews.
• Drive innovation through simulation and digital engineering.
