Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from a recognized university.
• 8+ years of relevant aerospace engineering experience.
• Knowledge of propulsion systems and interfacing disciplines (installation, pneumatics, avionics, electrical).
• Familiarity with fundamentals (thermodynamics, gas dynamics, combustion, fluid mechanics, control systems).
• Experience with DO-160 and ARP 4754A is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for short-term assignments.
• Bilingual French and English is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the Propulsion Systems Engineering group, supporting systems within this discipline (e.g. Fuel, Powerplant, FTIS, FIDEEX, APU, etc.).
• Manage interfaces and integrate assigned systems, coordinating with all necessary stakeholders.
• Define propulsion system architecture, prepare specifications and requirements, and conduct trade studies.
• Work collaboratively on multidisciplinary projects, providing the technical input required to determine root causes and define solutions.
• Manage engineering requirements, from creation and validation to verification.
• Author, review, and approve engineering design documents, procedures, test reports, etc.
