Job summary

Bombardier Defense in Wichita seeks a Project Engineer to serve as the engineering and integration focal for a challenging aircraft program. You will coordinate with the client, PMO, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to create schedules, milestones, budgets, and technical plans.

The role requires a bachelor's in engineering, 5+ years in project management or technical leadership, 3–5 years in aerospace engineering, strong MS PowerPoint/Excel, MS Projects expertise, and knowledge of ITAR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of project management or technical leadership experience.
• 3–5 years of technical aerospace engineering experience.
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Projects.
• Knowledge of ITAR regulations; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Act as Project Engineering and Integration focal for a challenging missionized aircraft program.
• Represent engineering to Programs, client PMO, and suppliers.
• Create schedules, milestones, budgets for technical activities.
• Plan and monitor tasks, estimates of effort, and interdependencies.
• Lead multidisciplinary stakeholders to resolve technical roadblocks and risks.
• Ensure delivery of contract requirements on schedule.
• Coordinate engineering resources and supplier activities.
