Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Propulsion & Fluids Structural Analyst to support the development of the MK2 Crew Lander. This role involves detailed structural analysis of propulsion systems and requires expertise in Finite Element Analysis and collaboration with design engineers.

The successful candidate will work closely with NASA and participate in ensuring the structural integrity of flight hardware throughout its lifecycle. Applicants should have a B.S. in Engineering and at least 5 years of structural analysis experience in aerospace.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience performing structural analysis on aerospace structures.
• Knowledge of vehicle load path and stress analysis of metallic/composite structures.
• Experience with classical aerospace sizing methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and generate FEMs.
• Conduct strength checks and make predictions for hardware qualifications.
• Collaborate with design engineers to optimize designs.
