Allison Transmission in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer to lead the integration and development of heavy-duty propulsion control systems.

You will work with MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, and MIL/SIL/HIL environments to define requirements and release software into production. Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate electrical components, sensors, actuators, and controllers to deliver industry-leading propulsion systems.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Powertrain or Vehicle Embedded Control Systems in Automotive, Aerospace, Marine, Agriculture, or Construction.
• MATLAB/Simulink experience in production controls environment.
• C/C++ experience in production controls environment.
• DFMEA experience.
• Experience using HIL/SIL/MIL environments for product development.
• CAN/J1939 serial data communication knowledge.
• Power electronics and electro-mechanical components familiarity preferred.
• Ability to attain CDL and perform in-vehicle development activities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
