Allison Transmission is seeking a senior professional to drive integration and development of heavy-duty propulsion control systems. You will define system requirements, develop integration strategies in model-based environments, and release control software to production, working with hardware teams to integrate sensors, actuators and controllers.
The role emphasizes MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, DFMEA, and MIL/SIL/HIL approaches in a production setting, across Automotive and related industries.

Responsible for the integration and development of heavy-duty commercial vehicle propulsion control systems. Broad range of scope, which includes defining system requirements, developing integration strategies in a model-based design environment, and releasing control system software into production. Significant work in MATLAB and Simulink in addition to C/C++, software and hardware in the loop systems, test cells, and test vehicle environments to develop our vehicle propulsion systems. This position also entails working closely with hardware engineers to integrate electrical components, mechanical systems, sensors, actuators, and controllers to produce industry-leading propulsion systems.
