Job summary

Beyond New Horizons (BNH) seeks a Senior Engineer as a high-level Electrical SME for the Propulsion mission at Arnold Engineering Development Complex. You will guide current operations and future capital projects, bridging legacy facility knowledge with modern sustainment strategies to ensure mission continuity through rigorous technical counsel.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 15+ years of aerospace/test experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university and 15+ years of progressive engineering experience in aerospace/defense/test environments.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for employment at AEDC and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical support for propulsion-related projects and capital investments at Arnold AFB.
• Share knowledge with less experienced engineers to aid maintenance, operation, and sustainment of test assets.
• Offer technical consultations to Management or Engineering Advisory Board and advise senior management on technical issues.
• Comply with PPE requirements and perform other duties as required.
