Job summary

HITT Contracting seeks a Senior Associate, Pursuits, to lead qualifications and proposal development. You will coordinate with business units, manage interview materials, and mentor pursuits staff to deliver compelling submissions.

The role requires strong writing, layout skills, and CRM knowledge, with a collaborative approach in a fast-paced environment at either Falls Church or Atlanta offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Technical Writing, or Graphic Design, or equivalent work experience.
• 3–10 years of experience in marketing in a fast-paced corporate environment; experience in the AEC field is required.
• Excellent technical writing and editing skills are required.
• High level of working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Experience developing proposals is required.
• Confidence in leading operations project teams and collaborating with executive leadership.
• Strong teamwork, organization, multi-tasking and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, coordination, writing, editing, layout, and production of qualifications packages and proposals.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop interview presentation strategy; lead the development of interview materials including presentations, interview books, and handouts; direct presentation rehearsals.
• Act as point-of-contact for assigned business units; guide them as they need marketing support; maintain project and team knowledge in CRM and other systems.
• Develop and maintain marketing content including narratives and photography for proposals, brochures, collateral, website, social media, etc.
• Update and maintain marketing templates including resumes, project sheets, proposal materials, etc.
• Manage and produce industry and project-specific award submissions.
• Develop and implement solutions that improve marketing department efficiency.
• Mentor and guide pursuits associates; train, orient, and check work.
