Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a Senior Specialist, Proposals and Client Services to support the successful pursuit of new business opportunities in clinical research programs. You will coordinate and deliver proposals, RFIs, and pricing analyses across cross-functional teams.

In this remote US role, you’ll develop budgets, manage RFI responses, train and mentor proposal associates, and track KPIs to drive efficiency and quality. Strong analytical and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business; 3-5 years in proposals and budgets within clinical trials.
• Experience developing Strategic, Full Service, and Preferred Provider RFP responses.
• Knowledge of early-phase clinical study designs, including healthy volunteer and multi-site studies.
• Ability to create customized budgets and compile complex proposal documentation.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination, preparation, and delivery of proposals, RFIs, and related client service activities.
• Develop and review budgets and pricing analyses to support competitive proposals.
• Manage completion of RFI questionnaires and maintain RFI response databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather information for high-quality submissions.
• Provide training, mentoring, quality review, and budget tool support for proposal staff.
• Track and analyze KPIs to support operational effectiveness and continuous improvement.
• Recommend and implement process enhancements for efficiency and consistency.
• Support proposal management activities and other business-critical initiatives.
