Job summary

Maximus in Tysons, VA is seeking an experienced Proposal Lead to oversee multiple proposal projects and ensure alignment with business goals. You will develop high-level strategies, win themes, and executive summaries while guiding a cross-functional team of sales, marketing, technical experts, and graphic designers.

You will mentor junior staff, manage the bid lifecycle for high-value opportunities, and translate complex technical details into compelling, compliant content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study is required.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent.
• 5+ years Medicaid proposal writing experience within the 7 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple proposal projects and ensure strategic alignment with business goals.
• Develop high-level proposal strategies and win themes.
• Lead the proposal development process for high-value and complex projects.
• Interpret RFPs, RFQs, and IFBs to determine requirements and strategy.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, technical experts, and designers to build proposals.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.
