Job summary

Prescient Edge in McLean, VA is seeking a seasoned Proposal Manager with 7–10 years of experience to lead end‑to‑end proposal development for the RD&E portfolio, focusing on defense contracts and compliant responses. A Bachelor's degree is required, and security clearance eligibility is preferred.

The ideal candidate will coordinate cross‑functional teams, ensure timely submissions, leverage FAR/DFAR knowledge, and drive winning content while maintaining high standards of quality and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7–10 years of proposal management experience, preferably in defense.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFAR and government contracting standards.
• Strong writing, editing, and cross‑functional coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and communicate with executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end proposal development from opportunity ID to submission.
• Coordinate portfolio opportunities with internal resources.
• Ensure proposals comply with RFP requirements and deadlines.
• Collaborate with SMEs, technical staff, and executives to craft compelling content.
• Develop proposal strategies and reusable assets to improve efficiency.
• Oversee reviews, desktop publishing, and final formatting for all volumes.
