Agile Defense seeks a dynamic Proposal Manager to lead high-quality responses to federal and commercial solicitations. You’ll guide proposal creation from interpretation of requirements to submission, driving strategy, writing, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional writing, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent proposals to meet deadlines. This is a mission-driven, growth-focused position located in McLean, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2–5 years managing federal proposal processes.
• Understanding of federal procurement processes and solicitation requirements.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and desktop publishing tools (Adobe Acrobat, InDesign).
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent proposals and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of proposal creation, including writing, editing, compliance checks, and production.
• Lead collaboration with capture managers, SMEs, writers, and graphic designers to develop winning proposals.
• Develop proposal schedules, compliance matrices, win strategies, and themes aligned with requirements.
• Mentor proposal staff and coordinate color-team reviews; drive a collaborative, high-performing team.
• Maintain solicitation documents and proposal artifacts on SharePoint or MS Teams; ensure progress.
