Nightwing Intelligence Solutions, LLC seeks an experienced Proposal Volume Lead/Writer to craft clear, persuasive proposals for cleared programs in the Dulles area. You will translate complex technical concepts into credible, compliant responses, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality documents.

The role demands strong research, editing, and stakeholder communication skills, plus the ability to handle multiple proposals and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, or a related field.
• 5+ years of previous proposal writing experience.
• Conceptualize, design, and plan to prepare reports and proposals.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Current TS/SCI Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, persuasive, and articulate proposal sections.
• Create compelling technical proposals that win over potential clients.
• Translate technical and other ideas into understandable text.
• Rewrite and review proposal sections and related proposal documents.
• Work with internal teams to gather information and translate it into compliant technical responses.
• Convey strategy in concise and compelling narrative text.
• Research, write, and organize information in a professional and credible manner.
• Attend meetings with stakeholders to translate requirements into proposals.
• Prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.
• Edit and proofread proposals to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Develop and maintain proposal templates and guidelines.
