Thomson Reuters in the United States seeks a Senior Proposal Manager & Writer to lead compliant, persuasive responses to federal and commercial solicitations. You will own narratives, win themes, and executive summaries, coordinating SMEs and deadlines from pre-RFP through BAFO and award.

The role combines writing, management, and knowledge management, maintaining reusable content and templates, and delivering high-quality, consistent responses on tight timelines.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Minimum five years of proposal management experience including government solicitations.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Manage assigned RFPs, RFIs, questionnaires, certifications and other requests through intake to closeout.
• Analyze requirements, evaluation criteria, and risks to develop response plans and schedules.
• Lead bid discussions and coordinate cross-functional contributors to meet milestones.
• Own the proposal schedule, assign actions, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Serve as lead writer for executive summaries, win themes, and persuasive content.
• Maintain consistent voice and quality across sections.
• Interview SMEs and translate input into clear language aligned with evaluation criteria.
• Develop discriminators and executive summaries with sales and capture leads.
• Reconcile SME edits while preserving clarity and consistency.
• Manage procurement communications and post-award items.
• Review and finalize complete, compliant responses before submission.
• Submit responses by email, portal, or print by deadline.
• Advise partners on procurement and proposal matters; escalate risks as needed.
• Maintain proposal records and lead post-submission lessons learned.
• Develop templates and best practices to improve efficiency.
