Pratt & Whitney, a RTX business, seeks a seasoned leader to drive military engine proposal efforts from pre‑RFP through contract award in East Hartford. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, align with customer requirements, and ensure regulatory compliance (FAR/DFARS) to win business and support growth.

The role emphasizes building compliant, compelling proposals, managing schedules and resources, and training teams in best practices. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field; 8+ years in aerospace/defense, or 5+ years with a Master’s.
• 2+ years proposal or project management experience within U.S. DoD or international military programs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of compliant, timely proposals for Military Engine programs.
• Manage proposal teams, schedules, and resources from pre-RFP to contract award.
• Ensure alignment with customer requirements, company strategy, and FAR/DFARS.
• Collaborate with PMO, ME Pricing, Finance, Contracts/Legal, SMEs and executive leadership to deliver winning proposals.
