Job summary

GFT is seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to join our BD&M team in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, or Austin, TX. The role emphasizes proposal leadership, capture planning, interview development, and client service to win work.

You will mentor junior staff, contribute to BD process improvements, and collaborate with technical teams and marketing to craft compelling materials. This role supports regional and global pursuits and requires strong communication and independence.

Qualifications

• Requires normally a 4-year degree in Marketing, Communications, or applicable field.
• Minimum of 5 years of combined proposal experience in the AEC industry or similar.
• Preferred experience with TxDOT or major metro cities.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently across a proposal lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, and delivery of proposals, qualifications, and presentations.
• Collaborate with technical teams, SMEs, and marketing to craft win-oriented materials.
• Coordinate interview teams, prepare content, and rehearse for client meetings.
• Manage compliance matrices, schedules, and outlines; track opportunities in CRM.
